How it works: DMH Electric Cutouts are designed to better your cars performance and feel. The cutout works by welding into your stock or modified exhaust. They can be placed anywhere after the headers. To open the cutout you press a switch, which opens cutout, releasing your exhaust. This enables you to bypass your muffler, increasing horsepower and giving your car an extremely throaty rumble.

Never crawl under your car again to remove the cap from your cutout.

    I bought this kit roughly 3 years ago. They have been nothing but a headache since. They worked well at first. After a few weeks they started to leak. I determined that there was play in the motors not allowing a tight seal. If you hold the close button, they don’t leak. DMH sent me replacement motors. A week later, same issue. They send me another set of motors with the wrong connectors on them that don’t hook up to thier harness. They say no problem, we’ll send you the right ones. Then never came and I ended up permanently connecting them to the harness. A week later, they start leaking again. They don’t answer the phone. I called on a daily basis for 2 weeks straight. No one answered, no one returned several voicemails I left. I got tierd of calling and gave up for a while. Months later I try again. someone answers and I explain what happened. “No problem. We’ll send you another set of motors.” They never show up. I try calling to see whats going on. No one aswers, again. another 2 solid weeks of calling and leaving voicemails. No response. I have given up on this company and will be buying QTP cut outs to replace them

    I also had problems with the motor coming loose and rattling on several of my replacement motors. At present, the valves still leak and will no longer close without blowing the fuse.
